Hi
Question about the ba/jd program at gw...is it for the class of '09 and if so if we already applied to gw, is it still possible to apply for this program?

yea, i already applied too, and im thinking about maybe doing the ba/jd program except i haven't taken any SAT IIs.... oh well
i wonder if they'll let people transfer into the program....

hmm so if we applied to the elliot school can we still apply for this program???

I had a question about this program as well. If accepted, are you bound to GW Law, or can you still apply to other law schools too?

I think you would have to commit to GW law, although I think you can opt out of the program if you want.

Interesting program, it seems; however, don't know how I feel about having to commit to GW Law.

be careful in applying to ba/jd...they're taking 15 people supposedly. if you do not meet their requirements they will not think twice

GW has a top 20 law school and is VERY competive at the grad level...like 18% acceptance rate. It's a good deal.

You can always do political science or pre-law and not commit. However, the deal with the program is that you basically take a year off of law-school. That means your senior year classes will be both undergraduate classes and graduate. There's no other way to do the program without committing to the law school ahead of time.
