applying either as biology or bioengineering major

USC -
UC San Diego -
Caltech-UC San Diego Med Scholars -
Brown's PLME -
Johns Hopkins as BME -

Hello!

As you prob. already know, these programs are extremely competitive!

USC - mid reach
UC San Diego - low reach/match
Caltech-UC San Diego Med Scholars - reach
Brown's PLME - crapshoot/reach
Johns Hopkins BME - mid reach

Great stats! ECs are a little weak (med programs really look for strong involvement in research/med ECs) Focus on strong essays, and I'm sure you'll get in at least 1 or 2. Unfortunately, being Indian makes life harder for these programs.
Good luck with everything!

thanks for the time!! =]
ya these programs are extremely competitive
the one id most like to be involved with is probably USC's.
anyone else? :P

anyone........... ?

bump! does anyone know much about these competitive programs?
