Just wondering...are there any BA/MD/PhD programs??

I doubt it....
Why would you want to do that???? :)

To my knowledge, there are BS/MD programs (Villanova) and some medical schools have MD/PhD programs (New York Medical College and Georgetown University)

You could go to Northwestern HPME and then later join the MSTP (MD-PhD). If you get into HPME and then just do well on the MCAT then, MSTP will not be too difficult for you.

melodious-- Some people choose to do that because.. well, if you do MSTP, tuition for 7-8 years is free, plus they will pay you $20,000+ to come to their schools

yeah, seriously, how could you beat that?!?! FREE medical and graduate school (eaning MD and PHD from Northwestern), plus some pay....

Oh, how happy my parents would be

If money's an issue and if you're a California resident, medical school at any of the 4 UC schools is free too. :)

I guess that's makes sense in some ways, but usually BA/MD programs are made to keep clinicians in that school's respective state... People with MD/Ph.D's are usually more research oriented...

I would think that getting a solid 4 years of science would serve someone better if they were interested in getting a Ph.D... All the combined programs that I applied to were humanities oriented, so I guess I just never though about someone who wanted to do research applying to one...

ponders For some reason it still doesn't sound like a great idea to me.

I definitely wouldn't just do that for the "fun" extra letters behind my name... or to make my parents overjoyed... :)
