I'm a high school student in Missouri. I go to a school that requires the students to take all college-courses for their junior and senior years, so I'll have around 70~85 college credits by the time i graduate next year.

I'm looking at UMKC BA/MD (6years program) and cost is not much of a problem.

My GPA + ACT scores are just a little below the average accepted students'.
I will be shadowing 3 doctors for almost 3 months over the summer.

I had like a 3.9~4.0 in my freshman and sophomore year but around 3.5~3.7 in junior year. Will the fact that i took all college-credit-courses be considered? (Avg. was 3.81 last year for the accepted student)

How important is ACT a factor of admisssions?

Do they see the mid-term grades for your senior fall semester?

I'm thinking that UMKC BA/MD program would be the first choice, but if i don't get in, I would be looking at going to MU for undergrads and double-majoring in 2 years(I will already have taken 2 bio classes, 2 chem classes, 2 physics classes, 3 math classes, 2 english classes, and 1 humanity classes by the time i graduate high school) in either Bio+Biochem or Bio+Chem, then applying to MU meds school.

Time would be the same: 6 years. But I do kind of want to relax to not be paranoid to go into meds school for another 2 years. So I'm planning to go into a BA/MD program, and keep my GPA to some extent so I can go into a residency program I want to get into.

Can anyone who graduated or is enrolled to either UMKC or MU meds school recommend which route to take?
