ok...I would really appreciate anybody's help here. I'm an intl that is why I'm a little in the blur about this. so...I want to major in math(if possible at Brown) and I can't decide which is better BA or ScB considering my dream job is teaching at an university? what exactly is the difference between BA and ScB?

BA is a Bachelor's of Arts, and BSc is a Bachelor's of Science. The differences between the two degrees will vary a little between universities. In general, with a BA (also called a liberal arts degree), you'll have to take a wide range of courses, and there might be foreign language or social science requirements. A BSc is more science/math oriented, and may require fewer general education requirements, and more science/math courses.

well..yeah...but considering Brown has no core curriculum and the fact that my interests go beyond science(I'm interested in learning a new foreign language, etc...) would you sggest I go for BA?

You could go in for BA as it would allow you to take up all kinds of courses you're interested in and it's futile going for BSc if you've not got your heart into it as it is obviously harder, if you're keen on it, try getting more info about a joint hons. program most universities offer.
