<p>Anyone going to major in theatre at USC....or was considering it, but chose another school? Just wondering!!</p>

As I recall you are a spring admit. Please check on a member’s posts, actingmom. She has a daughter in the theatre program. Some of her posts have been in the Drama/Acting Forum. Her posts should give you better insight into this school which has produced many Golden Globe, Oscar and Tony award winners.</p>
<p>My daughter just took it off her “short list.” It hurt, but a decision has to be made and mostly it was a lifestyle choice. She really doesn’t like LA that much nor does she really like driving. Plus we’re from NY and that makes it very far away. It’s not that she would be gone for 4 years, she figures with the contacts and such she would wind up living there for 10 years or more after college and she just isn’t ready to give up NY yet.</p>
<p>Haven’t “officially” rejected yet, but we’ve mostly stopped comparing USC to her other two top choices.</p>
<p>amtc: what are her top two choices of schools since she eliminated USC? Has she made her final choice?</p>
<p>Also, was she in the BA or BFA program?!?!</p>
<p>I just submitted my deposit to the USC School of Theatre as a 2013 BA. </p>
<p>Does anyone know when they will announce next year’s season of plays?</p>
