BA vs BS for Grad School

Hey everyone! I'm a current UNC student, and I am deciding what to major in (either psychology or astrophysics, I know both are useless as bachelor's degrees but I plan on getting a Ph.D. and going into research). I am torn between the flexibility that a Bachelor of Arts degree offers, and the rigor of a Bachelor of Science degree. At UNC the Bachelor of Science has a LOT of extra classes (related to math and science obviously). I know the general consensus is that BS vs BA doesn't matter for grad school since the universal differences are arbitrary, but with such a difference in course requirements at UNC could it influence my chances one way or another? Thanks for your help!!
