i saw that several UCs have the same major and the only difference is BA and BS
whats the difference between the two?
im looking to do premed so which should i choose?

<p>^Not necessarily. Premed is not a major, it is a set of coursework that you need to take to apply to med school. You can major in anything and have either a BA or a BS and still be premed.</p>
<p>A BS will require more science oriented courses while a BA will have more arts and humanities. Choose the major that best suits what you are interested in studying. You can major in English and also be a pre-medical student.</p>
