<p>Look at the degree plans. Generally, a BA has more electives and/or room for a minor than a BS. If you want to double-major, you would likely have to get a BA because you need to use the elective/minor classes to fulfill the requirements of the second major. A BS is more focused in the subject. In the degree plans for BS majors I have looked at, the BS tends to include more of the quantitative aspects of the field of study. But you’re going to have to look at the specific degree plans at the school you are going to attend.</p>
