Babson College Early Decision

Hey guys!

Anyone planning to apply early decision to Babson College? I haven’t seen many threads about Babson College so I was wondering!

Anyone applying? If so, lets compare stats to chance each other

Please reply!!!

Hey! I applied to Babson for ED too and just found out that my application is complete. Best of luck to you!

@ninjaturtle I applied EA but they are saying my application is incomplete. There are two boxes that are not checked off. One is first quarter grades and the other is mid year. My first quarter wont be available till Monday and my mid year not until after notification. Which senior year grades did you send for ED?

@penny47 Oh I’m sorry I forgot to mention. I’m a gap year student so I had all my grades in hand since I’ve already graduated from high school. That is the only reason my application is complete.

Our son is freshman at Babson and is happy there, already trying to start his business. Just be careful selecting liberal arts professors there - some of them are VERY liberal and clearly favor minorities over majority, IMHO.

I applied EA! I will be getting my decision back on Friday! I am excited to heat back from Babson. I know that it is a really great school and I hope that I will be offered a slot.

I go to a very competitive prep school, so take that into consideration with my GPA
GPA: Unweighted 3.65
SAT: 1850 (I know that it’s a little low, but my cc believes that my extracirriculars and essay make up for it)
Current Courses:
Honors Biology
Seminar (AKA college level) History
Seminar (AKA college level) Lit
Ap Stat
Forensics Science (unique class to my high school)

-Policy debate. Have won multiple state wide awards and am now a novice coach
-Select club soccer
-Varsity soccer since my sophomore year
-Intern at the GA Aquarium
-Intern this past summer at Sharecare, Inc., founded by Dr. Oz, Oprah, and Jeff Arnold (WebMD)
-Have done countless community service hours and many different shorter internships
-Participant for the January 2016 GPSA Belize public health trip - affiliated with Duke and Harvard

Good luck to everyone!
