I need help choosing between the two! I like them both but I am not sure which one takes the cake! I don’t mind the sizes of the two, I’m looking more in terms of career preparation and a good outlook. And overall prestige. Which would take me far in whatever endeavors given I do good in academically.
Cost? Goals? What do you want to study?
Take a look at the majors offered at the schools. Babson is mostly a business school and Brandeis is mostly liberal arts, so they are very different in what they offer.
I do look to probably study business of course, which is why Babson is a top option. But Brandeis has a business program that may rise in recognition as its fairly new in comparison to other universities. Cost isn’t a factor. It is but let’s say its not. I also don’t know exactly what I want for my future. @WildestDream @nehiker
The two colleges, both well-regarded schools, would offer very different experiences. I just looked at Babson’s website and the available concentrations are all in business. Brandeis offers a full liberal arts experience, with a lot more options.
Which do you want? A focused preprofessional program or a full liberal arts experience? Are you definitely settled on a business major, or do you want the flexibility of a liberal arts college? Do you want to study a wide variety of subjects en route to your career in business, or do you want to focus laser-sharp just on building your business skills?
Those are the questions to ask yourself. Good luck!
Babson is almost a boutique business school and is well known for entrepreneurship. If you really aren’t sure you want that, Brandeis is probably a much better choice.
