oof I guess I am the same way then. How many merit scholarships do they give out? I was hoping maybe they’d give info later.
Accepted with:
4.35 GPA (3.8 UW), 1380 SAT (Super scored), not too many business extracurriculars but a lot of political stuff
@Ngpro111 You should see the merit scholarships in the acceptance portal under the Financial Aid tab.
are you sure? I did not apply for financial aid so that area is blank, but I see nothing about merit scholarships. @JonathanNJ
@jonathannj @bentley2023 I guess I did not get any then? It only has the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan in the table. @JonathanNJ did you get any merit?
@Ngpro111 It is my son, he got presidential scholarship (half tuition)
@bentley2023 Certain merit scholarship does not need CSS or FAFSA profile.

@JonathanNJ may I ask what your son’s stats are? I felt like I was a strong contender for merit aid, but I was surprised to see that I did not receive any.
@ChefNelson My son ACT 36 (one test only), SAT Subject 800 on both Math II and Chem, GPA 3.97 unweighted. 5 AP(4@5 and 1@4), 2 IB. Varsity Debate team 3years, and several leadership roles at clubs, JV soccer and tennis 3 years. NHS, NMS semifinalist. Very competitive public school in NJ. Internship at NYC hotel and fashion firm, part time job and tutoring.
accepted EA. Invited to apply for CWEL scholarship and interviewed for that in mid March. Good luck to everyone.
@waverlywizzard how did you find out about the scholarship
Final candidates for the CWEL scholarship were invited to interview during Early Accepted Women’s overnight. There are also candidates from RD pool, from my understanding. No decision notification yet. There were quite a few candidates and not sure how many overall are given out. All seemed to be really impressive though. Good luck to everone!
ps I believe that the potential CWEL RD candidates had a separate interview procedure or date…but I could be wrong.
