Babson or Bentley?

Both schools are ranked highly and are very respected in the New England area. A challenging and intense business education can be obtained at either of the colleges. I have been accepted into both schools and am having trouble deciding between the two.

I will most likely major in Accounting, and would really like to Double Major. I know that at Babson you can easily choose two concentrations in the business-field. At Bentley, however, double majoring requires 1 business major and 1 Liberal Studies major. The numerous business minors at Bentley, however, are very appealing to me.

Great deflation is known to be an issue at Babson, but I am not aware of grade deflation at Bentley.

Babson has offered me an attractive financial aid package, and I am still waiting on my tentative award from Bentley. This will be a major deciding factor for me.

I know that Bentley has an EXCELLENT career services department, but I am not familiar with the strength of Babson in ths area. I just read an article in the Boston Herald that explained how 99% of 2010 Bentley graduates were either employed or enrolled in graduate school at graduation. I have also heard that Bentley has excellent internship opportunities.

Does anybody have experience with either school, or have anything to add that could help me in my decision? I appreciate your help!

Bentley is known for its accounting program. They even have grad courses in accounting and tax, which I would think gives them the better program.

Honestly, however, I don’t think you will go wrong with either school. You have to compare the financial package each school gives you and the culture of the school. Getting lower grades can be VERY detrimental for both jobs and graduate study.
