Since we all have parents that are baby boomers (or atleast i hope we all do) doesnt that mean there are alot more kids in this mini-boomer generation and therefore when coupled with the fact more people are graduating HS accounts for the extremly difficult admission stats of many top schools (like under 10% admit rates)? So from here on out its just gonna get harder? Just trying to get my facts straight. This view is open to debate.

From what I have read/heard, high school seniors graduating in 2008 have the largest class ever going into college, so yes, we are going to have a harder time. When you notice top schools' applicant pools, they have doubled, tripled, and quadrupled over the last 20 or more years, while the number of admitted students has stayed relatively constant, creating even lower admittance rates for selective colleges (from 40% to 30% to 25% to 20% and soon to be even lower). All I can say for the class of 2008, is at least we aren't the class of 2009 (they'll be even worse-off than we are)

im class of 09 and i think it will begin evening out since we are on the edge of the boomer genration

Time to apply to JC then.
