Does it matter what school I get my bachelor's from if I plan to go to vet school later on? Will I not be as competitive an applicant for UPenn's vet school if I went to a place like the University of Maine rather than somewhere like Brown or Princeton? Do not employer's care more about where you get your doctorate than where you got your bachelor's or master's? And wouldn't it be a LOT cheaper and more efficient if I went to UMaine for my bachelor's/master's, where I could get my education nearly paid for in full, and THEN spend the real money on getting my doctorate at UPenn or Cornell or Tufts?
