So far my college decision has pretty much come down to UGA versus GA Tech. I’m instate so I’ll get 100% of tuition covered with Zell. While I’m well aware Tech is the more reputable school, I’m wondering if it is worth it to pay room and board, dining, etc…as well as suffer the stress to only get an undergrad degree from Tech when I could pay pretty much the same amount to potentially get a master’s from UGA through the combined bachelor’s/master’s degree program.
For the most part, I’m interested in STEM majors. It changes every day but I’m primarily interested in math, neuroscience/psychology , physical therapy, and most recently computer science. And I know that Tech is pretty much the school to go to for all things STEM, but I’m just wondering if it would be better to get a master’s through UGA in one of these areas, since STEM majors are pretty much valuable no matter what school.
Thanks!
