bachelors then masters

if i go to a state school (SJSU) and transfer to a more prestigous school (UC or graduate school) for my masters, can I still do bachelor stuff at the prestigous school while doing my masters?

also, on a resume, do they look at all the schools you went to or the one you got the highest degree?

thanks!

hello!>??!?!?!

You would complete your Bachelor’s at the first university, and then apply to graduate school at the second university.

OR

You would apply for transfer part-way through your undergraduate degree, and then complete the Bachelor’s at a second university. Then, you would have to apply for graduate admission at that university or at a different one.

There are a few colleges and universities that offer five year BS/MS or BA/MA programs. Sometimes students can be admitted directly to these programs, and other times they have to apply after their first or second year of college.

Generally speaking, people are most interested in the last college/university that you have attended when they look at your resume. But, it also depends on the job you are applying for. For example, if you have a B. Eng. and a Th. D. , which one you emphasize on your resume will depend on whether you are applying for a position as an engineer or as a preacher.

I know you’re just a kid, but bumping your thread 3 minutes after your first post along with the quality of your thought processes reflect a certain immaturity as well as a lack of awareness.

College is not an end point, it is part of the journey. You are not the college you go to. You are not the car that you drive. Just go to a school and make the most of it.
