I think I might major in Electrical Engineering, so if you could recommend some [and chance me for those?], I'd really appreciate it!

I also might do comp.sci, pre-med, or some other engineering thing. Yeah, broad range, I know, I'm sorry!

Thanks everyone!

I don’t know much about the school but you may like Carnegie Mellon University. (high match/low reach?)

I’m not sure about UC’s for instate people, so I’m not going to chance you. But I think you’ll get into UCLA, UCSD, UCD, and UCI. Just not sure about the logistics for cal.

Yale- high reach for errbody
MIT- high reach for errbody
NYU- match
USC- match
Pomona- high match/low reach

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1198626-chance-me-will-chance-back.html

UCLA match

UC Berkeley match

UCSD low match

UC Davis [maybe] safety

UC Irvine [maybe] safety

Yale [EA probably] reach

MIT reach but outside chance since they like their female Engineering majors

NYU low match

USC low match

Pomona [maybe?] high match

You are “in” at all the UC’s, USC, NYU, and Pomona.

Go to Cal.:)

Thanks for the feedback, guys! Now I just hope I don’t bomb my essays…

ECs are a bit weak, but only privates care about your ECs and essays. What is your UW GPA?

UCLA - impossible to say, they are weird with their admissions; good idea to apply though
UC Berkeley - same as UCLA
UCSD - acceptance
UC Davis - safety
UC Irvine - safety
Yale - possible rejection (Asian doesn’t help, sorry)
MIT - possible admittance (PROS: Female, CONS: ECs)
NYU - acceptance
USC - acceptance if you write a killer essay; they are known to reject “bland” or “generic” students with high scores. They like female Viterbi applicants, though.
Pomona - acceptance (But if you’re math/science, why aren’t you looking at Harvey Mudd instead???)

ABSOLUTELY apply to Harvey Mudd and Caltech. Maybe Stanford if you’re feeling adventurous. Otherwise, this is a good list.
