Just got back from the Head of the Connecticut Regatta. Got some great pics; got to meet Navy2010(Pat); very nice lady. We had a nice tent with lots of food for the Coasties. Don't have any official results yet. They called off most of the later races due to the rising river after two days of torrential rain. Lots of debris floating down the river.
Saw the kids from KP and got some pics of them too. They were "renting" a couple of the CG boats...hmm.

Great pix, Boss! Looks like a blast.

Well let's see in the novice 8's, one CGA boat finished head of MMA and one behind. So we'll call it a push.

Thanks for the pictures Boss.

Hope you packed enough sunscreen for the entire weekend.

bossf51; posted on the academy parents site- should have checked here first! great pics! thanks for sharing!

Thanks. Again it was great meeting you...we parents have a lot in common! Congrats to the Rams for a great showing!

Thought the ladies did well- alas, the last boat just missed the medal round, but are making up for it with hard practices this week (bailing out the boats no doubt)...if the coasties are heading up to the HOCR let me know! Now that is a fall regatta not to be missed! (get there early to find a spot on the Elliot Bridge for a great photo-op looking down on the eights as they pass....got one in freshman year that was so incredible we had it blown up to poster size!)

Only the varsity will be competing but the whole team is going up for support. I may go but not sure at this point. Take care!
