excuse my language but holy **** this campus is gorgeous, I've heard how nice it was but this blew my expectations out of the water. I'm entering as a grad so I've seen a ton of campuses and this is unequivocally the most beautiful, at least for my taste. That includes a list of notables like cornell, stanford, princeton, kenyon, st.olaf, pepperdine, washington st.louis, and usd. My office is right up against dunn woods too so yea this trip made my decision a no brainer.

Greetings clutchlikekobe!

I’m glad that you liked the campus so much! It definitely is a beautiful campus with a lot of greenery, although you didn’t really see it that much since it’s the winter time. It’s really gorgeous in the other seasons, especially in the fall time. What exactly are you going to study here? I hope you’re not saying no to Ivy Leagues, WU, and Stanford because IU is prettier. lol

Welcome to heaven on earth.

Just wait until the fall. I’m from New England and I never thought that autumn anywhere else could be as pretty as it is at home, but Bloomington is absolutely stunning.

I was picking between IU and some similar top 20 and one top 10, phd in math. Well my gf is working in chicago and it was her alma mater and she’s always been telling me what a great time she had even though she’s from socal so I had to check it out for myself, but campus is pretty important as I’ve learned from undergrad. It looks beautiful now I can’t even imagine it in the fall.

IU went to on the top of my son’s list after we visited IU last year on Red carpet day, the campus is just so gorgeous and beautiful so my son clearly stated that he wants to spend the next 4 years at a campus like that. During spring break this year, he visited his friends at U of I in Champaign, right after that he told me that he really appreciates the campus at IU and no regret for not going to U of I. He is very happy at IU now.

We are IU alums so we took our son by for a visit last year. He loved it also. We returned for a visit to the math and physics depts. They were great, especially Prof. Chris Connell.

My son has decided to pursue engineering instead of applied math. Otherwise he would be there in the fall.

Yes connell seems like a great guy. Anyway signed and sent my acceptance, anyone can comment on whether 16k stipend for 9 months is doable at IUB.
