<p>Do colleges run background checks using social security numbers? Anyone know of anything? </p>
<p>Just wonders (never been in any sort of legal problems...or school disciplinary problems either)</p>
<p>I haven't heard of any college that does, but there are professional/graduate schools that do.</p>
