Backing out of AP Tests

At the end of this year, I am lined up to take 6 AP tests: Here is what i think i will get

Micro:5
Macro:5
Stats:5
Physics: 3 or 4
Latin: 2 or 3
English: 4 or 5

The first three are independent, I'm taking the courses online, and I just found out they won't earn me any college credit. (I don't think they give credit for stats, and I already took Principals of Economics at a college for credit, so I can't test out of anything)

Would it be horrible to not take the first three tests (I'm a senior)
I'd rather focus on the other three, because they are classes I'm taking in school. Also, in Vermont you have to pay for the whole test on your own ($82!!!)

Any thoughts?

why would you take one that you think there is a possibility of you getting a 2 on?

the teacher is confident that I will get a 5, but latin vergil is such a struggle. I just feel bad spending the year preparing for the test, and then opting out, (im the only senior in the AP latin two year program, so I'd be the only one taking it this year)

its fine if your a senior and will be done with apps, but if you are a junior then that is a terrible idea.

ill probably just base it on the AP policy of the school I'm going to

im a senior this year, do not care about AP Tests at all, because even if i got a 5 on every single one, id rather re-take the class in college and get an A

so will the college you eventually pick contact you if you choose not to take any AP tests ur senior year ?(im taking 5 AP classes...)

thats ridiculous stonecold...if you got 5's it would give u the chance to take other classes if thats what you wanted (I would never but hey)

brassmoneky
which online course did you take for micro and macro? my son is very interested in taking the course online.

my school makes students pay for their own AP exams too. 7 APs = $500 +...ouch.

It costs $82 at most schools.
