Backups

Oh yes and I got a conditional offer from University College London :]

I got into Duke, but I'm still reaaaally hoping for good news from Wharton. I feel like if I went to Duke, I'd be more likely to major in political science and then try for Wharton or Harvard Business for graduate school or something... whereas at Wharton, I'd try and submatriculate into the law school, which would fast-track everything so much more..

Bahhh. Five days!

i just got notified of my admission to stevens institute of technology last night by email. so, now i have university of michigan and stevens as. i got into both my backups :) but its penn for me damnit !!

Accepted to UMich engineering, so well, I'm in somewhere. :) I've got tons of reaches waiting on the 29th and the 1st. (and the 28th :)) Should be an interesting few days ahead...

lol indeed shrivats, indeed. i also have all reaches sending me admissions decisions within the next week or so. god damn, i hope i come back from vacation to an array a fat envelopes (or more specifically, at least 1 fat envelope, with the penn insignia :) )

btw, grats on mich engineering, i also got into their engineering program!

if i don't get into Penn, I'm not sure where I'm going. I'm still waiting to hear from Michigan (Ross) preferred admit. I got into Stern though.

So what other schools are you guys hearing from on the 29th?

I hear from Cornell (likely letter) and Berkeley (highly unlikely :)). I'm glad for the Cali time difference so at least there's some time distribution.

On the 29th, I'm hearing from... Brown, Dartmouth, Penn (Wharton), Harvard, Yale, Princeton.

Yep, certainly not a hugely and insanely important and stressful day for me.

Whoa! Hope all goes well and good luck! (not so much for admissions but for the anticipation :))

Eh, I'm actually okay now, since I'm already in at Duke, which is a huge relief. XD

i'm in umich and have gotten 2 likelies (wellesley, dartmouth), so it's nice to know i'm headed somewhere....... but i really want to go to penn :X

I'm waiting for, well let's see:

Duke, Northwestern, Stanford, Harvard, Penn, Cornell, Yale, Princeton, Rice, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, Berkeley.

I think that's about it, really... Not that many I know, by CC Standards. :p

P.S: Accepted to Mich, reject from E/c^2 sqrt -1 PV/nR

Wasn't a backup, but got into stern so that's probably my top choice as of now.

yeaaaaa Stern WHOOOT

UNC Chapel Hill honors with $30,000 and wake. Penn is so nice though.

I just got into Stern, so that rules out a lot of my schools.

Now, I'm waiting for HYP, Penn, Stanford, Duke, Dartmouth, and Columbia.

waiting for northwestern, duke, uchicago, GWU, Tulane, BC, BU, columbia, Duke, Dartmouth and Penn

accepted to: Penn State, Fairfield, and 4 SUNY's

waiting list for WASHU

Accepted to Georgetown (Business) and University of Chicago
Waiting on Penn, Columbia, and Harvard.

Penn's my #1 though! Go Quakers!

Wait, downtown128, you were accepted to Georgetown EA right?

Accepted at NYU, Emory, BC, UM, UF
Now lets go into the process of elimination here:
I don't think NYU or BC are worth the money I'd spend.
Both UM and UF are free (Florida Bright Futures and other scholarships).
I absolutely hated UF.
So now my backups are UM and Emory. Penn is still #1 though!!!
