waiting for Duke, Penn, Cornell, and Johns Hopkins.

just got a full scholarship to BU.
This is going to be such a tough decision.. dammit

lol yeahh how much is the full scholarship worth? cause I got about $35000 from BU... I applied for scholarships, but my mom also works there so....

though either way, I don't think I'm going to go.

How did you already find out about scholarship, were you at scholarship day?

venus--you have been doing really well with admissions. I wonder do you still regret being deferred to Penn or are you glad. Because you have so many options unlike us....

takeme2cali - I got the Trustee scholarships, which covers tuition and room. I think I still have to pay for books though. Not sure how much exactly it's worth. Probably 40,000+.

Sristi - thanks! Um, I still wish I had gotten into Wharton ED. It's still my top school and I live really close, so it would've been convenient. And even though I got a lot of money from other schools, money isn't too much of an issue for me. So unless I'm accepted to Wharton, I'll most likely go to Stern..

wow venus thats amazing! congratulations on all of your fantastic acceptances/achievments :) i honestly do think you have a great shot a penn during the RD round after all you've achieved in this whole admissions game, so stay confident!

crazy88, I went to the EA scholarship day. It was in Jan.

impboy89--i seriously hope you get in. it would be awesome to be your classmate.

whoa, wow sristi thanks for the compliment :)

and btw, my first name starts with sri, i dont know why i just picked up on your username starting with sri also, haha. id be damn happy to be your classmate as well ;)

i didn't apply to that many colleges

my back-ups:
i only applied to 3 schools (2 safeties and penn)
UT-austin, I wouldn't mind going there especially if i get into bhp.

So far I've gotten in to SUNY Binghamton (Scholars Program) and Boston University (Honors Program).

If I don't get into Penn, or the other three Ivies I applied to (Yale, Dartmouth, Brown), I'd love to go to Amherst or Tufts, although I know they're very selective as well.

I won't be miserable at Boston Uni, but I'm still gonna be on pins and needles until Thursday, or hell, longer. OY!

Already got UT BHP and Plan II, I think i'll get Duke. A lot of Texas people seem to be on this forum. Anyone hail from the great city of H-Town?

i got into
NYU stern
UMD smith (pending Bannker/key the full ride)
BC (business) ---> got a bad financial aid package so out of the picture
UMich (pending Preferred admit into Ross) -----> bad financial aid again (out of the pic)
Indiana (Kelley) ----> 14,000 (with 8,000 merit) financial aid

so far nyu is my top choice but Penn is like #1 in business
plus thursday is my senior banquet so i dont know whether to check before or after

"Penn is like #1 in business"

sorry is #1 in business

I've got Duke, UVA (echols), Wash U, and NYU...but Penn would beat them all by far

I also got into Stern yesterday

I'd hardly call these backups, but I've been accepted at NYU, USC, Carnegie Mellon and UCSD (the rest I'm in, I don't think I'm considering). I feel pretty safe, but Thursday's going to be a very interesting day (I hear from Penn, Harvard, Columbia, UCB and possibly UCLA).

applied to 7 other schools, so far i've got carnegie mellon scs, boston u and bucknell
