Bad AP Tests

So if I am decent student, 33 ACT and 4.0 UW GPA at a large public school, what should I do about a few terrible AP tests? Apparently my nerves got the best of me, because I ended up with two 2's. When applying to my reach colleges, (ex. Northwestern, UNC-OOS), should I just not send those scores?

AP scores cannot be “sent” to admissions. You self report AP scores on the Common App, and then you can send scores to the registrars office of the school you are attending if they are eligible for credit.

You can search around here for lots of discussion, but I would not send the 2’s. They can only hurt your chances, and the absence of a score will likely not trigger any questions, unless you did poorly in an AP class.

Typically, you only send scores to the college you will be attending, otherwise they are self-reported on the Common App. I would not report them.
