bad breath + interview?

Wow, I’m sorry man. But yea, seriously! interviews don’t matter. So many people with stellar 2 hour interviews get rejected from top colleges. I wouldn’t worry about this, even if Columbia is your first choice.

And quite honestly, if a school is douch-y enough to reject an applicant because of bad breath, you shouldn’t be too bummed about being rejected then. I know I wouldn’t.

Dude, it’s in the public interest. The adcoms have a fiduciary duty to the Columbia students and professors not to subject somebody with nasty-ass breath on the entire Columbia population.

“sorry about this, i need to step outside quickly for some air,”

ow man that suks big time, you better see a doctor, there might be a small chance he needed some air for a different or needed to make a phone call, but he or the admissions committee might overlook a physical problem, i think such a problem shouldn’t effect your chances, even though it might.

“The adcoms have a fiduciary duty to the Columbia students and professors not to subject somebody with nasty-ass breath on the entire Columbia population.”

what about ugly people C02? what about deformed people? someone with a high pitched annoying voice? this is the single stupidest thing you’ve said on here in a long time.

Are you serious? You’re an actual Columbia student?

You don’t feel bad at all for what you have just said? I guess Columbia is not the place I thought it was.

I love the ■■■■■■■■ that accompanies anonymous websites like this…

maybe so they have some breath diversity? i have good scores and ive worked really hard at school and in my extracurriculars, but i dont want something stupid like this to take me down…

Columbia2002 is a ■■■■■.

Um… you’re just now wanting to treat this for an interview… you mean… you’ve never tried to get help for your condition!?

well ive always chewed gum, but you can’t do that at interviews!

This is a condition, though, y’know. HAVE you seen a doctor?

Also, I’m very sorry about what happened at the interview. I’d probably cry profusely.

^Actually, you could just keep the gum on the side of your mouth, you know… you don’t have to chew gum to “chew it”

My ■■■■■■■■ comment was not directed at Columbia2002. She or he seems to be exhibiting an appropriate sense of humor.

vs.

Jesus, I guess not everyone has common sense.

^sorry then, just seemed to fit in as something you would say.

confidentialcoll, for what it’s worth, my comment was not directed at you, either. (Obviously.) I guess I was simply suggesting to posters like blueducky that you shouldn’t believe everything you read from posters on a website like this. (And your tongue may also have been firmly in cheek, blueducky.)

this whole thread reeks of a ******** story produced by a (somewhat)creative student. this is a ****in joke- has to be… but what C02 said was dead on. nyc stinks bad enough as it is, we dont need the “pig pen” of breaths emitting his toxic fumes all over the student population everywhere he goes. im sure you’ll fit in well at princeton- its in jersey and no will give notice

hahahhahahha

okay the games up lol. i did this for a laugh and a pleasant diversion. my friend actually had this odor problem, but it wasn’t nearly as bad. i did have an interview on thursday however and it went great.

ha ha,
cheesemanbus

Humor; some say it’s a lost art. I would agree.

“i did this for a laugh and a pleasant diversion. my friend actually had this odor problem”

how ingenious of you! d!ckhead.
