Should I either applying to Brown with a 640 CR score? Across two tests, that’s my highest, along with a 780 WR and a 770 M.

I was in a similar situation as you last year except my low score was in writing and was a 630. Brown will not reject you because you got in the 600s on one portion of the SAT because, like all the Ivies, they have holistic admissions, meaning they look at things besides test scores and GPA. Just make sure you have ECs that represent who you are and to bring out who you are in your essay. For Brown, I feel the best way to impress the admissions officer is a well crafted essay that lets the ad com know who you really are. Also, your composite score is still 2190, which is still excellent. Just make sure to do well on your SAT Subject Tests as well.
