Okay, so I’ve taken AP Chem and APUSH in the past.
I got C’s in both classes but a 5 on AP chem and 4 on Apush.
I’m currently taken two ap classes, and I’ve received high C’s in both last semester.
Will it be okay if I disregard my grades and do well on tests?
Do colleges even look at what grades you got in those classes?
Your class grade and AP Exam score measure two different sets of criteria. If you are consistently getting C’s in class and 5’s on AP exams, you need to evaluate you classroom performance. One or two instances of grade differences aren’t significant. However, you’re in danger of presenting a trend. Take the exams, it would be silly not to, but consider why you might not be receiving the same kind of recognition in class.
Grades in your classes are a more accurate prediction of how well you will do in college. Mid-level colleges might not mind, but selective schools will treat those Cs like red flags.
Well, I’m about to fail the AP Calc exam and get a c average in that class. LOL.
@Bigls Honestly, it’s because I’m the laziest piece of shit, haha.
