bad grades, sophomore year of high school?

Okay I'm currently in my sophomore year of high school and my grades have been really bad. My fall semester of sophomore year was eh but it has been a trend for me to do worse in my second semester of classes. I know college-wise this is absolutely terrible, but I have been trying to change my ways and study habits especially in the second semester.

Anyway these are my grades for the second semester (we haven't taken finals yet,but these are my second semester averages so far).

Honors Algebra II : 73
Honors Chemistry : 79
Honors Arabic II : 93
Honors English II : 89
Honors Spanish III : 88
AP World History : 86
AP Psychology : 83

In freshman year, my overall GPA was a 4.23 (weighted)

I also go to a fairly large school (3,000+) and it is a good public school.

This year has been the hardest and worst for me, especially transitioning into AP classes. While I know this is no excuse for bad grades, I just want to know if there is a chance for me to still get into a good college.

I also want to know what paths I can take to better myself, and if good colleges can still be a part of my future.

It is not a death sentence. I would suggest toning down the rigor a bit next year, ever so slightly. If you can start going in the positive direction, even not up to a 4.23 again, you can be perfectly fine.

It also depends on your definition of a “good college”. There are plenty of great schools out there. If you were thinking Ivy tier, then year this is a huge blow. But you still have all the shot in the world at other Top 50’s and the like.
