Did anyone get a bad grade like "F" or "D" in the transcript be accept to UCLA UCB?

youstill have chance if you can retake and get a good grade in that class(easier if your major is not impacted).
Grade trend. Lets say the class that u mentioned was years ago and u r doin very well right now … and there are many other exeptions
In short, u should still have chance, but u need to be cunning in ur application about this bad grade (cunning, but not lying ^_^)

I didn’t get any bad grade though

i got a D in Spanish. but i re-took the class. however, even with my D i had a 3.5 GPA, which i know several philosophy majors (My major) got into UCLA with it. not cal, but at least UCLA.

i re-took the class and it boosted my GPA up to 3.9 (I got an A in the class).

You may also want to consider academic renewal for a bad semester if you meet the school specific requirements

When my first year in colleage because the language ability I got two F oe is Mus (because it’s 8 week) another is Calcules ( I can’t follow the fast patteren) now I try to retake it in another does it count? Also my major is math so does it effect me well when I apply to UCLA or CAl or do I have to switch major? Can someone give some advise? Thanks

if you got your F in Calculus in the first quarter and then all A thereafter( 1 B is fine I think), you should still have chance. Most major need Math except social science majors which usually require more writing and research T_T.
