Bad idea for me to go to UC?

I got accepted into the marketing program at UC. The business school there has an average SAT of 1070, and ACT of 23. Let me tell you this...I loved the school (campus, dorms, ect) but I dont know if I should go there because of its reputation outside of the good programs there. My ACT was 24, not much higher then the average (Im not a good test taker) and my GPA is a 3.6-7 at a highly competitive high school. I take about 2 honors classes a year in math and science, this year taking AP Stats as my only AP of my high school career. Dont post here making fun of me, because I realize Im not an incredibly intelligent person, Im pretty average. Im very math oriented, in fact, my ACT score is only at 24 because of my 29 in math. But like I said, Im not a good test taker ;). For real though people, I love the school, its different from what Ive seen, and the coop program is definately a plus. Very modern and kept up, which I love. Im a white suburban boy (not from Ohio) that wants to go to a pretty urban school, but I dont know if UC fits me academically. Am I making a poor decision because my GPA is higher then the average there? Or am I actually a good fit?

By the way, I got denied into the graphic design program, but accepted into marketing. I have been doing graphic design for about 4 years, but then realized after sending in my app I really didnt want to do it as my major, and marketing fits me very well. Ive been taking marketing in high school this year and have done really well, winning small school competitions.

UC is a great school. Go for it.

Thanks, but I mean, with my test scores and such, does it seem like a good fit?

Did you get refused from graphic design outright? I ask this because they turned down kids for early admission but are considering some for regular admission. You need to read your rejection letter.

Second, if you are REALLY interested in graphic design, go to another school if you got fully rejected from Cincinnati. If you are interested in business, I think Cincinnati is fine for you. You low test scores will hurt you in admission. You seem to like the school, as does my daughter. Thus, go for it.

Also, if you are dissatisfied with the school, you can always transfer out after a year.
