So I interviewed with my first choice today. I read over a packet they had on their website thousands of times, thought about my answers thousands of times, felt great going in there. When I did, it all fell apart. I didn't give y/n answers or was rude, I just didn't say enough. I didn't give them the real me. I wanted to talk about my interests and what I wanted to major in, but I had difficulty finding a place to put that in. They got COMPLETELY the wrong idea about me. Thought I wanted to go into medicine, I want to go into the arts...Don't know where that mix up happened but I thought I was clear but I guess not.
What do I do? The school is already a stretch (Colorado College) and I was thinking how if I aced this this might just help me a little bit. Now, they're going to forward my interview and I'm going to sound like a piece of card board.
Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Can I do an interview with somebody else? (but that would look bad) Do interviews even matter that much?

Interviews are not that important for most schools. I am aware Harvard’s interview and Cornell’s Hotel school’s interview matter. I think you should just relax.
