I am currently stressed out. ATM im in junior year and i've had pretty bad marks lately 75-80% due to slacking off and stuff. Now my question will universities such as UBC and mcgill overlook this year and concentrate on senior year (which i plan on getting 90s) and high SAT scores (already started studying SAT for the 1 on October) ?

I've also heard conflicting answers. some say they look at your best grade 12 marks, others say they look at your whole transcript. someone please clarify?

They look at grades 10, 11 and 12.
I wouldn’t be surprised if grade 11 counts more in their internal procedure than grade 10.

if you live in vancouver, UBC looks at your top 4 provincially examinable/AP classes in either taken in gr 11/12. I know for sciences, one must be Eng 12, one Math 12, one Science 12, and one other prov. ex. gr 12 course. They don’t look at the marks for SS11, ENG11, or a language 11, although you must have taken all of those. (PS these are your gr 12 term 2 marks, unless you took them a year early. so dont slack!)

I’m not sure how it goes for other provinces…

and i think for mcgill you need to self report all your grades, though i cant remember.

woops!!.. i forgot to emphasize that i will be applying as international student. :D
