bad math grade

Okay so I am a full ib student and I have never been good at math. I am currently enrolled in ib math (I’m a junior) and my average is really really rough (I’m not failing though.) I am looking at super competitive schools and the rest of my grades are fine but I am still worried. should I try and get into an easier math class or wait it out? I really don’t want it ruining my gpa or chances at getting into the schools I want (usc is my top school). I guess I’m just wondering how bad it will look. I want to go for film and I have good grades otherwise and good extracurricular and standardized test scores I just don’t want math to ruin it for me
