Bad Midyear Report=Rejected Everwhere?

So I bombed two of my finals and ended up with Cs in AP Physics B and AP Calculus AB.

I know there's still hope for UCs since they don't look at senior year grades and only rescind if you get lower than a 3.0, but am I doomed everywhere else?

My Senior Year Grades (Most Likely):
AP Calculus AB: C
AP Physics B: C
AP Bio: A
AP English: A
AP Government: A
AP Spanish: B

GPA dropped from a 3.88 to a 3.74. :(

My schools (excluding UCs):
Rice University
Washington University in St. Louis
U Chicago
Pomona College
University of Southern California
Case Western Reserve University
Emory University
Tufts University
John's Hopkins University

Things aren’t looking good for the majority of the schools of your list that look at senior year grades…including Rice, WUSTL, Chicago, Pomona, USC, Tufts, Emory, Hopkins…Case Western might give you mercy…Hopefully you like some of the UCs on your list.

I’m pretty sure that it depends on the institution and your hooks. The only way you will for sure get rejected from all of those schools is if you flat out failed a course, which you didn’t. Be optimistic about your situation, there is always some hope out there.
