Chances are if you haven't gotten in already your not getting in, my school had all its acceptances for rolling colleges by now and everyone that got rejected received notice much later.

This topic is EXTREMELY foolish....

Acceptances still come in late! I am probably going to get rejected anyway, but I know for a fact that more acceptances are on the way. If you look at old college confidential, some people didn't find out until late March last year, and they were accepted.

The topic creator is ignorant and posting information with no evidence.

Well he does have somewhat of a point. So far there have been many acceptances to the rolling schools, however there have been no rejections...so if you're still waiting to hear the odds are not in your favor

The odds may be worse, but I'm sure they let some acceptees know April 1st...

oh yeah, of course

Odds are worse, but you are still in with a chance until April 1.

oh hush, stop upsetting the kids who havent been accepted yet

Are acceptance for all schools at Cornell rolling?

no, only hotel, ilr and cals

What does posting this accomplish?

I know a kid from last year with a 1600 who hadn't found out by this time last year. Of course he got in, but later. Plenty of kids were getting accepted until March 20th.

P.S. nobdoy likes you Oels.

Yeah this is a pointless post, we do not know the system Cornell uses, and how they decide the acceptances and in what order.

Everyone just relax.

Engineering isn't rolling, right? Because I've read that some people have gotten in RD.

all this anxiety! haha

the way i see it is, why decide you're rejected or accepted now? just wait till you find out! until then, everyone go enjoy the rest of your senior year and have some fun!!

Nay, I say "rolling" meant from February 'till April 1st. Otherwise they might have called it somewhat of an Early Decision II. Remember what Stallone said in Rocky V: "The difference between cowards and heroes is that the heroes go for it..." in other words, don't give up! It's not over yet.

"P.S. nobdoy likes you Oels."
Now was that necessary FishS, I mean, that just makes you appear foolish.

thats not true that if you haven't heard yet then you are rejected....i've heard from many people that cornell mails their decisions either in february or late march/ april there really is no in between. also, cornell needs your mid-year report so sometimes they don't make their decision until they receive and review it...so don't make assumptions like that trying to scare people b/c you're wrong

"Now was that necessary FishS, I mean, that just makes you appear foolish."

No it was not.

I was very upset that you posted this thread, however. All you are doing is unrightfully taking away the hope of many applicants, urnightfully so I might add, because I personally know of DOZENS of people who heard after this time last year. If you don't want to leave yourself open to ridicule, don't post such inflammatory things.

Regardless of what FishS meant by his comment, I'm sure he's right in that nobody likes you for posting such an assumption. On all other levels, however, they may like you just fine. lol

I'm not saying anything definite, just traditionally, thats what has happend for the last few years.

And I'm just saying, that's not true. Look at posts from LAST YEAR.
