I posted in the thread but just to make sure folks see it - that was bad reporting that spread like wildfire. The bill has to do with state ‘grades’ for schools’ performance – i.e., are they successful or not – and nothing to do with students’ grades.

This is what happens when local journalism is under siege.

Wow! Hope those journalists get the marks they deserve. Was such an upsetting story, glad it was not true.
