Ok so I took the SAT for the first time in December and I got a solid score: 780 reading 700 math and 730 writing

I wanted to raise math so I took the SAT again in June, but my scores dropped terribly except in math:
660 writing 730 math and 690 writing

So my superstore raised 30 points from a 2210 to a 2240. However I'm concerned about the drop in the reading and writing scores (idk what happened there). Is that going to be an issue on my applications? Should I retake again?

Please help guys :)

It shouldn’t be too big of an issue, seeing as your scores are great regardless :). But if you’re confident you can do significantly better you should go for it (long summer right). It all depends on your goals and if you feel like you can do a lot better, it’s not worth it to retake a 3rd time to gain say 20 points

I mean if u honestly think u did that bad, which u didnt, u should just retake.

I took mine first time in June and I didnt do well and I am going to retake in OCT since i need subject tests in Nov or Dec.

I’m aiming for a 2300+. Does that appear feasible? Should I try the ACT? What is the translation of a 2300 SAT to ACT

If u study, u will be good. At that point when u hit the 2200 mark, theres not much u can really do unless u know what u are really struggling with.

Ok thank you! I have another question. Do schools see all your scores or just the best of each section?

Um i think it depends. Alot of schools want u to send all of your scores
