I’m referring to schools such as Georgetown in particular, the rest of my application can be found in a different thread but I’m just trying to gauge if it impacts me tremendously and if I would need to take an additional couple of SAT 2s. I’m a rising senior.
Sophomore year:
World 680 (just didn’t study, entirely my fault) AP Exam 5
Junior:
US History 660 (really surprised on this one, thought it was easy) AP Exam 5
Physics 670 (huge portion of electricity and magnetism that our course didn’t cover and didn’t have time to study fully for all the new material which constitutes more than a half year of physics) AP Exam 4
Math 2: 780 (this is fine)
Few questions:
- Is it worth retaking any? I’m planning to retake physics because I will be taking Physics C senior year so that’d be worth it to retake, but something like US History is annoying because I really thought I did well but I guess not, but it’s much more difficult to retake something like that once the school year has ended.
- How much do these lower scores impact admission into somewhere that doesn’t participate in score choice?
- Do I need to take a couple more?
Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks
