I took three SAT IIs and I only did well on one. I dont even know if McGill looks at or cares about SAT IIs but if I didnt do very well on them does that matter? will it hurt my chances of getting in?

McGill requires:

either the ACT or

the old SAT I plus at least three SAT IIs or

the new SAT I plus at least two SAT IIs

(See individual faculty requirements in the Application Guide for required SAT II subjects.)

Minimum Score Requirements: http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/usminimumscores/

It's not impossible to get into McGill if you're below the suggested score range, but generally speaking I think it must help to have at least 2 SAT IIs which are at least at McGill's minimum requirement.

McGill requires 2 SAT IIs. It actually used to be 3 they required but now it's 2 because of the new writing section of the SAT I.

I was 2nd in my class, had good SATs, and got rejected b/c my SAT II Chem was 10 pts below the requirement. So...I think they're really strict about that.
However, I appealed and got in, so even if you do get rejected b/c of it, don't give up.
