BAD SAT SCORE... Help!

This is my score breakdown...
CR 520
M 490
W 500

I want to improve each section by 100+ How can I do it? I have the blue book... But are there like tricks or something to learn... I don't know...

I want to get into NYU or Cornell... Or other colleges in NYC or LA. I would like to major in Biology and be in the pre-med. Do you have other colleges to suggest me? My counselor sucks...

Oh! I did not prepare or study a lot before taking the test... I mean I just did some of question on the sat website, and the PSAT (which I took without really caring much about it)

AND I AM A SOPHOMORE (But graduating in 2015, so a year earlier, by skipping geometry which I took on middle school but not very well, in fact most of the questions I did poorly on the math section I bet where about geometry)

And I am not a native English speaker... (moved in U.S. from Italy almost 2 years ago!) and I have been in a different school almost every year... but luckily for me I will graduate from this school next year.

I speak Italian (mother language lived there for most of my life), Dutch (I lived in the Netherlands for almost 3 years), Somalian (my mom comes from there so it's a language I learned at home), and Spanish and French (that I studied at school so I'm not as fluent as the other languages, but I can understand and do pretty well).

I am an IB Diploma Student (3 HL 3 SL) with a 94 W average... (My school doesn't do unweighted...) and well this was for the first semester, and last year I had a a 96 UW (last year I was in a different school, but I did not take any AP or IB classes, because they did not offer them).

Furthermore I want to apply for the QB College Prep (hoping to get the summer program for one of their schools)... My SAT score will hurt my chances, right?

Hey would you consider yourself a science-geared person? Perhaps the ACT is a better option for you. I took the SATs (without studying) and got a solid 2000 on them. I wasn’t satisfied, so I tried the ACT after doing several practice tests. I ended up scoring a 33 (equivalent to an SAT 2200). Try the ACTs- you can guess answers without being penalized. It does cover trigonometry, but the concepts are very simple.

If you are dead-set on using the SATs (no judgement here), then I would just suggest constant studying. The SATs are made for students to slip up, so you have to become familiar with the test. Take multiple practice tests and see where your weaknesses are. I know that in math I never knew how to do circle-based problems.

In all honesty, if you increase each section by 100 you will still not be in the range for Ivies. I’m not saying that it wouldn’t be possible to get in, I just know that a good range of SAT scores for Ivies are 2000<. Try the ACT, and see where it leads you!
