hey guys!
So here's the news, i see alot of people with 2000+ on the CC forum and congrats to you, i know some maybe disappointed at the fact that you may have not reached your target score or "superscore" but hey honestly there are some people who would kill for a 2000+ so dont beat yourself if you dont get that grade, yet instead relax and congratulate yourself. My main intention for this post is because, although there are many people who got the high 2000, im pretty damn sure there are many people who did not, so for those who are aiming to do there 2nd or 3rd retake in October 2010, i want to start a journey with those willing to work over the summer. Despite your SAT grade currently, might i suggest that the best way to optimize your grade is not through Princeton review, Kaplan, Huntington, etc, but its YOURSELF. Yes im pretty sure your parents said that before or the review book your dreading to open again on warm summer days but hey lets face it, we need those target scores, and despite what everyone says about it not being important, the SAT's does play a large chunk in college decision and it has been for the past previous years, so i cant offer any remorse or sympathy other than just work at it. Anyway i would like to start off by saying my goal for October is a 1800-1900, i think its very achievable and most of the schools im applying to are around that area, current im at a 1610, and my worst moments are during the test where i start freaking out because i didnt answer a question correctly. These are my problems to those willing to work with me please post your problems, experiences during the test, weather it maybe time, frustration, difficulty with a question, please post, and your worst section weather it maybe writing, critical reading, or math

I honestly applaud to those willing to work over the summer, i know its hard to pick up those books again, but now you know that im suffering along with you, so please look back ask any question that you may not know, and im hoping for those who recieved the high 2000's please post some tips, that you may have used or some review books that you have found helpful.

Some Factors To Think About
-The SAT is evil, yes but its purely a logic test therefore every question is solvable
-3 books i have seen quite frequently used on this forum site was Direct Hits and Rocket Review along with of course Blue Book (please anyone with these books offer your opinions)
-This forum has really helped me raise my critical reading score due to Noitaraperp's approach to the critcal reading section, heres the link, very useful http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/750399-how-attack-sat-critical-reading-section-effectively.html?highlight=noitaraprep

-I failed to find any specific Math help but please if anyone has any plans to approach it

Lastly i found this site very helpful for grammer

In 3 months i hope to see those who join with me, weather it maybe one or 1000000, to all be happy with their grades and know that despite the outcome that they gave it their best, and HERE WE GO!!!!!
