<p>1340 out of 1600? Possible, but it will be pretty tough...but yes, it's definitely possible.</p>

<p>If you browse last year's acceptance threads, you will see that many kids accepted did not have 1450 SATs. You have a pretty good chance if you rank is good, your ECs are good. A 30 ACT is in the 97% range. I think it falls in Penn's range.</p>

<p>There are many people from CC who have gotten in with SAT scores in the 500/600 range for each section. Your scores will NOT keep you out of the college, but you will not be as competitive. However if your ECs are amazing then that is fine.</p>

<p>i think the act range is ********. i feel this way because on all converters a 30 on act is equal to no more than 1400 sat. the act range may be lower becuase of west coast and they are more likely to accept west coast kids to get diversity. it is the only reason i can think of.</p>

<p>Well, I hate these kids who complain even if their ACT or SAT scores are in the 95+%. Yes, it may not be excellent but chill! You can't do anything about it.
Diversity is a important feature in colleges. I would not like to go to a school where everyone thinks about getting perfect scores on exams the whole time.</p>

<p>you should have just as good a chance as anyone else, but do keep in mind that the scores are lower than the average - hopefully other parts of your application will compensate. also, remember that SATs are not as important as GPA/courseload</p>

<p>I know I'm in the 95% percentile or whatever, but it just upsets me that a 4 hour test could cause me not to get into upenn. I think it sucks that the test is as big of a factor as it is becuase it really doesn't mean very much. Just think how many people will ask you what you got on the SAT when you attend college. If its more than 1 would be suprised.</p>
