Where did you read this? College Board notes only that Macalester opts out of score choice (in other words, you either send all SAT scores or none). Macalester itself notes that it needs one or the other and not both.</p>

Students applying to Macalester must submit either the SAT I or the ACT results. The Admissions Committee does not have a preference for one test over the other…All applicants must submit test scores from either the SAT or ACT in order to complete their application.
