Against my better judgement I retook my SAT II Literature in January. I had gotten a 720 on the test previously (88th percentile) and I just wanted to see if I could do better. Looking back I shouldn’t have taken it again. I in the hospital the week before and I had no chance to study for the test whatsoever and I was still in recuperation when it came time to take it. Long story short I got a 650 on the retake-which is awful. Even worse I used my free score thing and sent it out to all my most selective colleges. I previously got an 800 on the USH test so I know I’m far from being an idiot. Will this score hurt me or will they just throw it out as a fluke?
Georgetown is my top school btw
They won’t throw it ‘as a fluke’.
It might show a negative drop, but I don’t think you can do anything about it now.
Most probably, they’ll just look at the 720 assuming a lack of preparation in the second attempt.
Great. This day couldn’t get any worse @determined2300 thanks for the info anyway
