I have been accepted by Rice ED and unfortunately senioritis is real. What counts as threateiningly bad when it comes to grades? I take 5 AP classes and 6 classes total. My grades are A, A, B+,B+, B, B. Thanks for all answers I have really been worried today since our guidance counselors came around during homeroom and threatened us for having bad grades overall and the possible disastrous consequences.
What I have heard is that Cs might get a stern letter, Ds and Fs might have serious consequences, but Bs are not a problem.
You and I have 2 very different definitions of “bad grades.”
Rice wants you. They accepted you over thousands of others. You would have to seriously screw up to have you acceptance rescinded. As long as you don’t get D’s, don;t get arrested, or don’t get caught having lied on your application, you’ll be fine.
The general rule is no Ds and not straight Cs.
You’re in the clear
You are fine. Just don’t let the grades keep dropping further and further.
