I did horrible on my subject tests, 670 in Bio M and 570 on Math II and sent the scores. Would this really hurt my chances to getting into a UC?
Well based on the tests you took, I am going to assume you are applying for an engineering major. Most schools nowadays do wholistic reviews but require SAT 2s for engineering. Engineering is one of the hardest majors to get into and of high demand so most colleges are looking for ways to weed out the list. An easy way to do that is with scores. So, most likely those scores are not going to help you.
Do you still have time to retake it? Your Bio M grade could be better but won’t necessarily kill you for most schools but, a 570 in Math II does not look too good for an engineering major. So, if anything retake Math II if you still have time.
Im planning to major in either biochemistry or biology
What is your UC GPA and SAT/ACT test scores? Which UC’s are you applying? I agree those SAT subject test scores are definitely not going to help you especially if you applied to the top UC’s in a competitive major.
My SAT was 1370, essay 6, 6, 6 and ACT was composite 30. Im applying to UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCR. Can you clarify what you mean by UC GPA? Thank you both!
Do you have time to take them again?
I can but the next one is in December and they don’t count by then I think
UC’s accept up to the December sitting for SAT.

SAT subject tests are only recommended for Biology/Biochem at UCSD and UCB, so they will impact your chances at UCSD.
