Bad Test Scores, But I have everything else!

I am honestly just a terrible tester, I did very poorly on my ACT’s.
However I have the GPA tufts wants, a killer essay, really good recommendations, and I am also president of student council. I am really hope that will help compensate for my poor test scores.
What do you think?

Is tufts a school that really focuses on scores?

-What do you mean by “very poorly” (like low 20’s)?

-If you have the GPA, essay, and recommendations under your belt, you should be ok in your academics.
-If you other EC’s, you should show that to Tuft’s. The more involved you are in EC’s, the more likely you will get in.

-Tufts’ average ACT score is a 31. I would suggest taking the ACT again, but if you can’t, you have a fair shot. It’s not likely that you’re going to get in so have some safety schools that your major.

Hope this helps and good lucky applying!

Unfortunately, Tufts classifies Standardized Test Scores as “Very Important” and ECs as only “Important”.
