Bad to only have 12 credits this semester?

Originally I had 17, but I dropped a first-year seminar and a Cal. I class. I did that because there was no way I could manage the grades that are required for them to transfer to another school. Those extra five credits would only have been a drag on my GPA, which I need to keep high. Next semester I am scheduled to have 18, but I have 15 college credits from high school, too. I will only have one taken one math when I need two, after next semester. I am applying to Notre Dame as a transfer and I was wondering what they would think about this?

If you don’t drop any more classes, it will probably be fine. Did you drop them before Ws?

Also, how do you expect to handle 18 when you can’t handle 17? That’s the real question.

12 credits is still full-time, but are you also working a job or something? hopefully notre dame won’t care, but i don’t know anything about the school admission process. post this on their board.

I agree with this. 15/16 units is standard full time, why not just go with that?
