so I just submitted my app but when I re-read the first prompt essay… I noticed that it’s horribly boring and cliche-ish.
I know I should’ve revised it more but I was nervous that I wouldn’t make it to the deadline.
However, my second essay is really great. Do you guys think that the admission officer won’t read the second one just because the first one is really bad? How does this work?
what if only one of your essay is good? D:

They’ll read both of them. There is nothing you can do about it now, so do not stress! You’ll be okay :)

thank you! btw I still need to send in my SAT scores. should I do rush shipping??

Essays are only one factor UCs consider in your application, so I’m sure you’re fine depending on the other factors i.e. academics and extra curriculars. UC’s accept scores electronically so you do not have to do any rush shipping.
